About Immolation Central
Welcome to Immolation Central!
This blog is inspired by and dedicated to my canine companions. They have helped me to heal my heart and reclaim my life, and I am committed to them and to their right to live with dignity and respect. They are both rescued and rescuers, and they own my heart utterly.
Shiva is an Australian Shepherd mix from an accidental and unwanted litter of pups. He came to live with us after being separated from his mom too early, and he's been a bundle of joy and trouble ever since. Smart, funny, and faster than a speeding bullet, Shiva the Destroyer does not like to share his tennis ball, but he really, really, really wants you to try to take it.
Guile came to us from the local dog pound. At four months old, he had already spent one month in a cage at the pound. He was a huge puppy, and he and Shiva became instant friends. Guile grew to be 85 pounds of lab/mastiff mix, glossy black, lanky and powerful, and as gentle a soul as I have met. Always up for a game of frisbee or a snuggle on the couch, Guile's devotion to his favorite human person (Atom) was complete. Guile left us suddenly and heartbreakingly at only 20 months old, and we will never forget all the joy and love he brought into our lives for the too-short time that we had with him.
Enjoy the blog. Peace out

I like where you're going with this... And if there's no "poetry" here - why do all your words dance in connected harmony? Thanks for sharing your journey - I'll be checking back for sure -
